i have the same problem drop idle but only when is realy hot days,the engine is going down almost stop,i turn the engine off and start again and its fine.You think that is the throtle body?

I wonder what the "buddy's" work turned out like lol. Ive heard that many times and in the end thry come back because the "buddy" did a poor job for getting pennys basically. You get what you pay for in the end unfortunately

Great fixed my issue the elbow come off the rubber was soft I used a zip tie until it gives out ordered the elbow on Amazon an will put in glove box for latter fix..

Helpful. Either one or the other headlamps in my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 go’s out on a regular basis. The bulbs are still good but I have to unclip the power from the green clip and Q-tip the inside to clean out corrosion. Any ideas what causes that issue? Thanks in advance

Having a similar problem on my 09 Ram. My conclusion is the copper on one of the little round pads for the door lock is pretty much all worn off. I just ordered one off ebay.

First thing I would try is actually cleaning the throttle body around the butterfly plate. Fords were notorious for issues with that. The idle mixture is pretty sensitive, but if you're getting a code..... Here's a tip.... if you are changing a throttle body DO NOT EVER try and manually push the butterfly valve inside it. You can end up with a paperweight.

Code is cleared ya,but did you go thru the 3-5 engine cycles. You have to run it up to normal operating temp then shut it off & let the engine get cold. That is the cycle. The vehicle runs the test every 3-5 cycles. Unless you know how many times the engine has cycled it may stay off for a while,until it's time for the vehicle to run the leak check.

2017 Impala LT V6. I love this car and I had just come out of a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP when I got it! Still Deceptively Fast after 6 years and I’ve walked away from Lexus and Infiniti V6s on freeway on-ramps. That said, the open road is where this car Really shines. Added a K&N air filter and it makes a difference in power and mpg. It’s a shame that Chevy/GM stopped making it, but when you sell your soul to to the EV’ers…

You can make these repairs invisible and permanent by: (1) apply primer if area is more than a few millimeters. If you only have it on a spray can, apply to cardboard and transfer with swab. (2) fill with paint. Take your time. Apply, wait a few hours, apply more until it is well over the paint level. Do not apply too thick in one go because it will run or take forever to dry. (3) Wetsand with 2000 on a block. No need to go any coarser than 2000 for a chip repair - sands in a few seconds and minimizes buffing. Any small flat wood square would work. At least 2x bigger than the repair area but not too big to reduce the area that requires buffing. (4) Clear coat (5) Wetsand with block (6) Buffing The whole process takes no more than 10 minutes, but spread in a full day or even two. Nobody will see the repair from 2ft away.

So, here we are, 4 years later, and this video is still helping people. Thanks for that! My AC started intermittently not working, but then stopped completely By following your instructions, it does look like the actuator (and, hopefully not the HVAC control), so I've ordered one from Amazon which will be here in a couple of days. In the meantime, it's still too hot to do without AC, and I noticed that, when I first turned the car on, with the AC set to full, it would start blowing cold, but then fail over to hot. So, I climbed under the steering wheel, cranked up and car, and then disconnected the actuator before it could go hot. VOILA! Took it for a drive and it stayed cold the whole time. Hopefully that will do the trick until the part arrives and I can put it in. Also hope this helps someone else in a similar situation. Thanks again!!

2006 to 2012 Ford Fusion and the Air blows cold for just a few seconds and then turns to heat, click the temperature control nob two clicks to the right off the coldest setting and start the car/AC. Some folks have said that turning on the headlights and fog lights on also works. I haven't tried it yet because it is 90 degrees here and I'm leaving my AC on and don't want to mess with anything until fall. Apparently, there is some service notification about the computer related to all the vehicle cabin functions and controls that is causing this.

I test-drove a 2016 Impala the other day. I might be buying it tomorrow. Very impressed.

Fucking jeep.. one problem after another

You know, you have a nice video, but you need to do less talking. And how come you didn't show how to slide the rear main seal into the motor and you should have explained a little bit more? What you use to punch it out? It was hard to tell it went too quick. It looks like you use an extension and a bolt.

Before you do anything or buy any parts to resolve a/c drifting from cold to hot . Check Your Car battery. The car will start up just fine but will not have enough power to run all the electronics properly.

Would this prevent the master lock to not work ? I replace the master switch thinking that was the issue even replaced the passenger one . I Can lock the door with the key but the lock button will not work . Could replacing this be the problem ? I have to lock all my doors manually not the end of the world but would be nice to just hit a button and have them all lock at once . Lmk

The Fram installation instructions PDF for the CF10132 filter states that the air flow arrow should point down. And the pictures therein show that the filter fold baffles are to be run perpendicular to the front of the assembly. The video matches on air flow direction, but differs from Fram's instructions by running the filter fold parallel to the front.

Made it seem super easy.
